We blazed through the extreme cold weather to meet at Wendy's house to discuss Under the Overpass by Mike Yankowski. We discussed homelessness, how mental illness plays a big part, what we can do to help and also asked What Would Jesus Do about issues we go through in our lives today. As usual, we strayed off the discussion a few times, but all in all, we stuck to the book. I admit, I didn't read the book but that didn't keep me from sharing my opinion or ideas on different issues. We also enjoyed a super yummy dessert Wendy made. It's always fun to get together with the chicks!Here is how we rated the book and the words we used to describe it....
